Join a highly collaborative, remote-first team at Datavant as a Product Manager to drive the vision and execution of health plan data needs, working closely with the Payer product team to enhance data exchange between healthcare providers and insurance companies.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years in a product management , product strategy or a similar role working with healthcare data ideally at a health insurance, health tech or healthcare company
- Tackled data interoperability or integration initiatives
- Experience working with data engineers is important
- Understand APIs, FHIR standards, and EHR connectivity to write product specs that translate business needs into clear technical requirements
- Highly organized and have strong project management skills: others are confident in a project’s outcome when they know you’re owning it
- High bandwidth and high productivity: others wonder where you find time to do all you do. Your secret is that you are quick to understand, formulate and respond
- Write exceptional documents , presentations, diagrams, and mockups
- Great communicator and have the confidence to lead planning meetings with anyone or any group within the company
- Work hard . You are at your best working at full speed, and you love what you do
- Motivated by getting stuff done. You are wired to both set the big vision and to make continual steps towards that vision
- Team player . You always put yourself in other’s positions and understand their motivations, needs, perspectives and potential points of confusion
Responsibilities
- Set the vision by outlining the data needs of the payer product team and their customers
- Be customer centric by obsessing about solving the customer’s problem
- Be decisive by identifying current and future areas of ambiguity and providing direction along with reasoning and analysis
- Write great product requirements that provide clarity and motivation for what we need to build
- Drive adoption by working closely across an organization
- Be a leader through example and attitude
- Operate like an owner with a “no job is too small” attitude, doing what is needed to make your product and Datavant a success

- Salary ranges for this position are developed with the support of benchmarks and industry best practices
- Estimated salary range for this role is $155,000-$165,000
