Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a Partner Manager, Relationship Manager, Customer Success Manager, or Account Manager role within a technology or media company (SaaS preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in US Public Sector Channel management
  • Proven expertise in managing a high-volume portfolio of partners and consistently meeting/exceeding pipeline growth goals
  • Demonstrated success in communicating and negotiating with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders within partner accounts and internally
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to capture and maintain attention whether presenting, on the phone, or writing
  • Deep experience in the North American market, with availability to work consistently within a North American time zone

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with public sector partners, ensuring their needs are met from onboarding through expansion
  • Understand and align with partners’ business strategies, providing guidance and support that drives mutual success
  • Regularly engage with partners to monitor and enhance their experience, focusing on retention and growth opportunities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies that drive partner retention, net revenue retention, and growth
  • Lead initiatives that promote WordPress VIP’s solutions within partner organizations, leveraging a one-to-many approach
  • Identify and act on opportunities to expand WordPress VIP’s footprint within the public sector
  • Serve as the voice of the partner within WordPress VIP, advocating for their needs, help them navigate challenges, and steer them to and through opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with key internal stakeholders, keeping them informed of partner statuses, alerts, and needs
  • Represent WordPress VIP at partner events, meetings, and other engagements, promoting our value proposition
  • Work closely with WordPress VIP Government sales teams to build a robust sales pipeline
  • Execute the go-to-market strategy in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
