Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a Partner Manager, Relationship Manager, Customer Success Manager, or Account Manager role within a technology or media company (SaaS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in US Public Sector Channel management
- Proven expertise in managing a high-volume portfolio of partners and consistently meeting/exceeding pipeline growth goals
- Demonstrated success in communicating and negotiating with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders within partner accounts and internally
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to capture and maintain attention whether presenting, on the phone, or writing
- Deep experience in the North American market, with availability to work consistently within a North American time zone
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with public sector partners, ensuring their needs are met from onboarding through expansion
- Understand and align with partnersβ business strategies, providing guidance and support that drives mutual success
- Regularly engage with partners to monitor and enhance their experience, focusing on retention and growth opportunities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies that drive partner retention, net revenue retention, and growth
- Lead initiatives that promote WordPress VIPβs solutions within partner organizations, leveraging a one-to-many approach
- Identify and act on opportunities to expand WordPress VIPβs footprint within the public sector
- Serve as the voice of the partner within WordPress VIP, advocating for their needs, help them navigate challenges, and steer them to and through opportunities
- Communicate effectively with key internal stakeholders, keeping them informed of partner statuses, alerts, and needs
- Represent WordPress VIP at partner events, meetings, and other engagements, promoting our value proposition
- Work closely with WordPress VIP Government sales teams to build a robust sales pipeline
- Execute the go-to-market strategy in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
