Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer or related position with customer-facing experience translating customer technical requirements into value discussions, specifically within the public sector
  • Extensive experience with WordPress, particularly in deploying and managing large-scale content management systems for US Federal and SLED clients
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud hosting, with a strong understanding of the security and compliance considerations relevant to public sector projects
  • Hands-on experience delivering content management systems to the public sector, either as a solutions engineer or through direct implementation
  • Familiarity with the public sector procurement process, including the challenges and relevant regulations (FedRAMP compliance, FAR, DoD impact levels, etc.) that US Federal agencies and SLED entities must navigate
  • Outstanding communication skills: you should be great at holding people’s attention, whether presenting, talking on the phone, or writing a quick blog post

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with Sales to qualify new business opportunities within the public sector, understanding the unique technical requirements, competitive landscape, and business drivers specific to government and SLED clients
  • Identifying and solving customer problems creatively, with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by public sector entities, including FedRAMP compliance and other regulatory requirements
  • Building proofs-of-concept and leading the demo process; this includes creating and running demos based on our public sector buyer personas, verticals, and business priorities
  • Contributing to the RFP/RFI process as a key technical resource, ensuring that our solutions meet the specific needs and compliance requirements of public sector clients
  • Recommending integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on our Cloud, particularly in environments governed by strict regulatory frameworks
