Requirements
- Proven track record in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the software or SaaS industry
- Experience working with government agencies or in a B2G (Business-to-Government) environment is a plus
- Familiarity with managing relationships with Salesforce, Carahsoft, third-party app partners, and ISVs
- Strong ability to develop and close new sales opportunities, including upselling services to existing customers
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to draft, review, and execute statements of work (SOWs) for service delivery
- Familiarity with procurement portals like GovWin and other systems for searching and identifying new opportunities
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies to identify and upsell post-implementation services
- Manage key partner relationships with Salesforce, Carahsoft, third-party app partners, strategic partners, and ISVs to foster collaboration and drive new opportunities
- Prepare and execute detailed statements of work (SOWs) for additional services, ensuring customer needs are met
- Serve as the main point of contact for all company sales, including managing leads, negotiating contracts, and closing deals
- Search for new business opportunities through platforms such as GovWin and other procurement systems
- Actively identify opportunities for new business, including leveraging existing contracts to introduce add-on services
- Meet or exceed sales targets and commissions through effective client management and sales strategies
