Requirements

  • Secret Security Clearance
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science from a college or university
  • Minimum total of ten years experience in developing systems architectures, with an additional five years experience in development of systems architecture for DoD systems including a combination of
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in development of U.S ground vehicle systems; and
  • A minimum of five years experience in developing and documenting systems architectures using Systems Modeling Language (SysML)

Responsibilities

  • Develop systems architecture with minimal coupling to hardware on vehicle platforms
  • Identify and provision data management requirements within program architectures and system designs
  • Create and manage systems architecture artifacts and models using SysML
  • Participate in software and vehicle testing, design layout, simulation, and evaluation of recommended design changes
  • Manage systems architecture development, integration, and acquisition activities
  • Track program objectives, acquisition activities, and support team performance
  • Participate in requirements management, technology assessments, design concept evaluation, and risk analysis/mitigation

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior System Architectin support of the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS).The Senior Systems Architect will develop and guide the overarching architecture vision for assigned programs, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders, including program management offices and technical teams. The architect will apply modern systems development methodologies, such as SysML, to support architecture design and data management requirements. This role involves mentoring program office personnel, conducting technical reviews, and ensuring compliance with best practices, while supporting acquisition activities and risk management processes across program lifecycles.
