Remote Senior Vice President, Strategy

Summary

Join a purposefully built commercialization partner for the biopharmaceutical, medical technology, and wellness industries as SVP, Strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of strategic deliverables for a substantial set of accounts, building and leading a team of strategists, and conceiving processes to enhance collaboration among strategy, scientific, creative, and account teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field (eg. Marketing, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Statistics); Master's degree ideal
• 12+ years strategic planning or marketing experience in a healthcare/pharma advertising agency environment
• Relevant category and launch experience
• Experience with HCP and patient marketing, including Pharma brand launch
• Experience utilizing strategic tools for analysis
• Experience building and facilitating client workshops
• Proven track record building and leading teams
• Superb and persuasive communications skills, both written and verbal
• Adept at storytelling

Responsibilities

• Consult on the analysis of qualitative and quantitative research relating to audience (HCP, patient, and caregiver), brand, culture, and media channels to derive meaningful insights
• Oversee the development of strategy maps, brand maps, and brand ladders, the articulation of insights and promises, and the development of personas, as well as customer journeys and ecosystems
• Advise Strategists, Account leads, Scientific Directors and Creative Directors to create tight, inspiring creative briefs and translate brand insights into ideas
• Monitor cultural and social trends, their impact on target attitudes, behavior and perceptions, using a variety of market and research data
• Clearly communicate and present ideas, POVs, and strategies to internal teams, clients, and prospective clients
• Inform the development of and facilitate workshops using strategic tools and frameworks
• Mentor, coach, and counsel strategy team members to facilitate their growth and development
