Summary

Join ezCater's Growth and Analytics Marketing team as a Senior Associate of SEO and help elevate our technical SEO capabilities. You will contribute to setting the SEO vision, developing strategies, and executing campaigns. Requirements

  • 3-5+ years deep experience in planning and executing successful SEO strategies as well as strong background in technical SEO
  • A substantial understanding of technical SEO factors for large eCommerce sites, such as site architecture, discoverability, canonicalization and redirects, internal linking, schema, dynamic content, and site audits
  • Mastered the art of keyword research, topic clustering, and data mining
  • Proven track record of developing and executing SEO strategies to improve conversion rate/conversion action volume, whether acquiring new customers, welcoming back returning users, or guiding users through a journey from occasional orderer to power user
  • Strong understanding of SEO tools like SEMRush, Google Search Console, Moz, web analytics and user research
  • Working knowledge of paid search and desire to work closely with paid search counterparts to develop holistic search strategies to maximize organic and paid contributions to the business bottom line
  • Knowledge of WordPress or other content management systems, familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience working with large data sets to create insights and actions
  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to execute against plans. Ability to manage multiple projects based on priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or closely related required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Always tie everything back to business goals. Whether you’re analyzing a report or identifying trends in the data, you never lose sight of tracking bottom line revenue impact
  • Help set the short and long-term vision for SEO, helping to position us as the premier food for work platform
  • Develop recommendations for technical and cross-functional support and partnering with Marketing Ops to help to articulate key milestones, doing opportunity sizing where relevant in order to prioritize the work
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and analytics to monitor web analytics and customer data to identify areas of improvement and create initiatives to grow organic revenue contributions
  • Help lead the development of SEO strategies for the marketing team, driving growth and an increase new and returning customers coming in through SEO
  • Partner with the content team to support organic content marketing and develop strategy, pivoting as needed
  • Develop and execute an SEO campaign including a plan for technical wins, new and existing content (onsite and blog), landing page testing, monthly reporting, and ongoing SEO audits
  • Create and maintain dashboards and metrics reports on activities and tests that measure and analyze impact, providing recommendations and a plan to drive continuous improvement
  • Help manage agency and vendor relationships, giving input into priority setting during weekly/monthly meetings
  • Assist in the development of the marketing landing page strategy, working collaboratively with the design and development team to ensure the website meets customer needs and expectations
  • Keep abreast of latest SEO news (ex. AIO, Core updates), trends research, innovations, algorithm updates and competitor analysis and make continuous improvements on business strategy
