Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in (American) English, a strong command of grammar, and familiarity with the Associated Press Stylebook
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality, engaging, SEO-friendly content across digital platforms
- Strong project management skills and hands-on expertise with tools such as Asana and end user proficiency with WordPress
- Experience using analytics tools like Google Analytics to monitor content performance and make data-driven decisions
- An analytical mindset to interpret data and metrics and optimize content performance
- Be based full-time in the eastern time zone
- Have 6+ years of experience in content marketing
- Bring 5+ years of creating content specifically intended for cybersecurity audiences
- Be self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Possess proficiency in content management and social media tools like HubSpot and/or Buffer
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree, or commensurate experience, in English, communications, journalism, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our company goals, elevates our brand identity, and attracts and engages our target audiences
- Create and manage a content calendar that delivers timely content across various digital platforms to drive brand awareness and fuel lead generation through strategic content marketing in support of an account-based marketing go-to-market motion
- Create high-quality and compelling content across multiple platforms, including website copy, blogs, social media posts, and email marketing campaigns
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO), while ensuring consistent brand messaging and tone of voice
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather guidance and requirements and develop content to fuel marketing all types of marketing campaigns, from industry-wide thought leadership efforts to product announcements, to highly tailored account-specific campaigns
- Research industry trends, market insights and competitor analysis to inform content development and identify opportunities
- Collaborate with designers, videographers and other stakeholders to oversee the content creation of visually appealing and multimedia-rich assets
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates and conversions, and make data-driven recommendations
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance with the company’s style guide and voice across all content deliverables
- Manage and maintain content and content repositories to ensure content is organized and easily accessible for future use
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends and evolving content formats to enhance content marketing initiatives continually
