Summary
Join our team as an ATM Installation Technician and assist in organizing and executing new and existing gaming property installations, participating in on-site and/or remote installations and training, and follow-up service related to quality assurance.
Requirements
- Ability to follow and improve standard operating procedures
- Thorough understanding of firewalls and the ability to troubleshoot any issues in the environment
- Works with other department employees to accomplish individual and company service levels and goals. Display enthusiasm and promote a friendly group working environment
- Stays alert in a high-paced environment. Follows detailed procedures and ensures accuracy in documentation and data
- Recognizes possible system issues that may affect payment entry processing and escalations appropriately
- Must be able to travel by car or airplane on short notice. Travel can be as much as 75% from time to time (in and out of state)
- Must be able to secure and maintain gaming licenses in multiple jurisdictions
- Be able to lift 75 lbs. and transport boxes and other items containing equipment throughout a casino on a recurring basis
- Working knowledge of cloud-based systems and experience in running basic queries in SQL databases
- 5+ Years of prior experience in casino equipment servicing, including but not limited to ATMs, Financial Services kiosks, cages, pin pads and cashier and helpdesk
- Working knowledge of electronic payments, particularly in the gaming industry
- Demonstrated orientation and action with detail, achieving deadlines and working in a bias-for-action environment
Responsibilities
- Install and configure gaming hardware (kiosks, edge devices, etc.) at various locations for new and existing customer accounts
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting external devices on Windows PCs
- Understanding of networks to ensure successful software installation and to assist client IT teams in making configuration changes
- Perform on-site and/or remote product installations, update configurations, and troubleshooting necessary for software installation and drivers for gaming products
- Provide on-site support for any technical issues or malfunctions that may occur during an installation
- Maintain detailed records of installations, configurations, trip reports, system updates, etc
- Assist clients with configuration changes needed to their LAN and WAN networks to ensure reliable connectivity to Pavilion services
- Assist clients with configuring and reporting their public and private IP addresses, ensuring proper usage and connections for successful operation of Pavilion products
- Assist clients with configuration of their firewalls, DNS, and Active Directory to maintain network security and efficiency
- Successfully complete additional skills training as required/requested
- Provide email updates to leadership and the technical peer group as to service issues, installation statuses, and knowledge sharing
