Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex contract renewals in a B2B SaaS environment, particularly with enterprise clients and procurement teams
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate procurement processes and handle objections to drive favorable outcomes
- Deep understanding of commercial terms, pricing models, and contract structures to support gross and net revenue retention
- Ability to design and scale repeatable, efficient renewals processes that support global operations
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with experience working alongside Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance teams
- Solid forecasting skills with the ability to provide accurate, data-driven insights on renewal risk, pipeline health, and revenue projections
- Willingness to operate across global time zones to support contract deadlines, executive escalations, and urgent negotiations
- Comfort working in ambiguity and building new processes from scratch in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end renewals process across Degreedโs global enterprise accounts, partnering with Customer Success and Sales to drive successful outcomes
- Design and implement scalable, efficient processes for renewals and upsells, aligning stakeholders and optimizing deal workflows
- Collaborate with Account Directors and Customer Success Managers to define renewal strategies that align with customer success and retention goals
- Lead commercial negotiations with customer procurement teams, working closely with Legal, Finance, and Sales Operations
- Forecast renewal revenue with accuracy, tracking pipeline health, identifying risks, and reporting outcomes to leadership
- Serve as a key escalation point for complex, high-value renewals, aligning internal teams and guiding negotiations
- Define and evolve Degreedโs global renewals operating model, including process standards, ownership, and team collaboration
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance speed, efficiency, and consistency across renewals
- Support renewal activities across time zones as needed to meet critical deadlines and contract milestones
