You will support various research efforts, including newsletters and original research, and collaborate with industry stakeholders. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role within a global team.

Requirements

• Passion for the technical and economic value of cryptoassets
• Proficiency in creating dashboards, writing Python scripts, and composing SQL queries
• Interest in and understanding of cryptoassets and blockchain technology
• Ability to take initiative and meet deadlines under pressure and with minimal supervision
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or another related field
• Strong writing skills
• Experience with data analysis

Responsibilities

• Support our various research efforts, including our weekly newsletters, original research, and sponsored research
• Identify and research topics of interest to our community and our clients
• Conduct research in support of our data products
• Explore cryptoasset data and identify and articulate insights
• Analyze major public blockchain networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum
• Synthesize research into reports and publications
• Develop and nurture relationships with industry stakeholders
• Contribute research insights to CM’s social media content curation efforts
• Consult with clients on their research interests
• Stay up to date with the latest news and happenings in crypto

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of coding languages, specifically SQL, Python or R
