Summary
Join ZipRecruiter as a Revenue Operations Analyst and become our incentive management lead, owning the end-to-end commissions process. You will ensure accurate and timely commission payments, creatively solve problems, and improve processes for scalability. This role requires calculating commissions for multiple sales teams, building and maintaining compensation models, partnering with cross-functional teams, maintaining data in Salesforce and internal systems, analyzing data to make recommendations, and troubleshooting system variances. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, advanced proficiency in Microsoft/Google Suite, basic accounting knowledge, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects. A hybrid work environment is offered, with most US-based positions eligible for remote work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years equivalent relevant work experience with sales commissions processing and calculations
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft / Google-Suite applications
- Basic accounting knowledge with an understanding of commission accruals
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver results under tight timelines, with a track record of exceeding expectations
- Identified and implemented process improvements that reduced project turnaround times or increased operational efficiency
- Exceptional at working as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
Responsibilities
- Calculate commissions for multiple sales teams across our go-to-market organization according to compensation plans and internal policies, ensuring commission and bonus calculations are done accurately and in a timely manner given payroll deadlines
- Build and maintain compensation calculation models and actively work towards automated solutions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to onboard sales new hires, manage role changes and build and route compensation plans
- Maintain the core data requirements in Salesforce and our internal data systems for calculating sales commissions (i.e., sales hierarchy, target incentive, quota, leveraging data from ADP and Salesforce)
- Research and analyze historical data, trends, and correlations to make recommendations on the synchronization of company financial targets, sales targets, and quotas
- Identify and troubleshoot system and data variances then help to develop solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in Salesforce with Salesforce certification(s)
- Advanced accounting knowledge, including expertise in commission accruals, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
