RFP Proposal Consultant

Summary

First Media is seeking a Proposal Consultant to join their team on a freelance basis. The role involves crafting winning RFP responses, collaborating with various departments, and managing proposals from initiation to delivery. This position is entirely remote.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience coordinating proposals or presentations for a consumer-facing brand in the social media space; experience in-house at a digital agency or publisher is preferred
• Experience creating custom, strategic digital media plans for brands with a focus on social media marketing
• A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Outstanding project and time management abilities, coupled with a sharp focus on detail and a strong sense of organization
• Exceptional proficiency in writing and meticulous proofreading abilities
• Proven ability to efficiently multitask and successfully manage multiple deadlines and assignments

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, write, edit, and produce responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Work with leaders from various departments to gather materials and oversee the entire proposal process from initiation to delivery
• Review and analyze RFPs, and edit proposal content for spelling, grammar, consistency, and compliance with requirements
• Create PowerPoint/Keynote presentations, leave-behinds, and handouts for meetings with potential clients
• Modify and improve proposals based on feedback
• Arrange and participate in strategy meetings
• Attend preliminary meetings and post-submission debriefings as necessary
• Support other business development and marketing activities as needed
• Collaborate with the design team to produce graphics and visuals for projects
• Deliver presentations to the executive board
