VP, Business Development

Summary

The job description is for a VP, Business Development role at WillowTree, a digital consultancy firm that partners with leading brands to deliver seamless customer experiences. The role involves leading relationships with key strategic accounts and cultivating relationships with prospective accounts in the Data and AI vertical. The position can be hybrid or remote, with travel expected.

Requirements

• Deep consulting and sales experience in Data Engineering and/or custom AI services engaging with F5000-level client accounts
• Experience in net-new client logo acquisition OR cross-selling within existing client accounts
• Extensive knowledge in AI, Machine Learning, Machine Learning Ops, Data Engineering, and/or Data Science

Responsibilities

• Identify target accounts to optimize services and communicate WillowTree's capabilities to clients
• Competently articulate product features to successfully implement technology solutions
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Product teams to craft executive-level proposals, pitches, and SOWs for prospective and existing clients
• Cultivate and extend existing C-level relationships with current clients
• Team up with delivery leadership to respond to opportunities and team-sell through RFP responses or other types of sales cycles
• Advise WillowTree’s internal teams on industry and vendor trends to remain well-positioned to assist our clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Data Engineering or Data Science
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration
