Sales Account Manager

Summary

Join our team as a Sales Account Manager – Military at Luxfer Powders, where you will manage military accounts, grow sales volume, revenue, and profit, while working closely with the sales, technical, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. This role requires extensive travel within the U.S. and occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the business relationship with both established and prospective accounts as well as end-users
• Conduct regular meetings through site visits, tradeshows, and industry association meetings to facilitate growth
• Understand and interpret technical requirements, recommend products and negotiate commercial terms (price, volume, payment, delivery terms) in line with business targets
• Provide accurate monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts based on customers’ projections and understanding of customers’ products and trends in end markets and applications
• Achieve financial targets in line with the company’s budget
• Accountable for pricing implementation, handling customer complaints and compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
• Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage and track leads and opportunities
• Coordinate and communicate with Customer Service, Production, Supply Chain (e.g. S&OP) and other departments such as Quality, Research & Development and Accounting
• Assist Accounts Receivable in collecting past due payments as needed
