Summary

Join Luxfer Powders as a Sales Account Manager – Commercial, managing and growing sales within the Luxfer Magtech business sector. You will maintain and expand relationships with existing and potential clients, conducting regular meetings and negotiating commercial terms. Accurate forecasting, achieving financial targets, and utilizing Salesforce CRM are key responsibilities. This role requires extensive US travel (30-50%) with occasional international trips. A competitive base pay, yearly bonus potential, and phone allowance are offered. Initial on-site job training is provided.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or related field
  • Experience in sales for powder metals, metal manufacturing, or steel manufacturing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience using Salesforce.com, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Manage the business relationship with both established and prospective accounts
  • Conduct regular meetings through site visits, tradeshows, and industry association meetings to facilitate growth
  • Understand and interpret technical requirements, recommend products and negotiate commercial terms (price, volume, payment, delivery terms) in line with business targets
  • Provide accurate monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts based on customers’ projections and understanding of customers’ products and trends in end markets and applications
  • Achieve financial targets in line with the company’s budget
  • Accountable for pricing implementation and handling customer complaints
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage and track leads and opportunities
  • Coordinate and communicate with Customer Service, Production, Supply Chain (e.g. S&OP) and other departments such as Quality, Research & Development and Accounting
  • Assist Accounts Receivable in collecting past due payments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
