Summary

Join Becker Professional Education as an Inside Sales B2B Account Manager to develop new business, build a strong sales pipeline, and drive sales results across all product lines. As the first dedicated B2B Account Manager on the Inside Sales Team, you will leverage your knowledge of Becker's exam preparation products (CPA, CMA, CIA, EA) and CPE/CE requirements. Success in this role requires excellent customer service, prospecting, account management, and consultative selling skills to assess client needs and offer innovative solutions. You will build and maintain a book of B2B clients, execute sales and marketing strategies, create account-specific strategies, network and prospect, collaborate with marketing, report progress to leadership, and stay informed about competitors. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of sales or account management experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required, preferably in business, sales, marketing, or related discipline
  • A minimum of 3-5 yearsโ€™ experience in sales, or account management required, and with building net-new books of business
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and objectives
  • Capability to handle complex customer situations, a large geographic territory and stretch assignments as requested
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM System and Microsoft office products/systems (excel, ppt, word, teams, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Build, create, and establish a book of B2B clients
  • Execute all elements of the defined sales and marketing strategy, including interacting with external clients, prospects, and organizations to provide accurate and updated information regarding high stakes exams (CPA, CMA, CIA, EA) and CPE/CE requirements to the accounting industry in general
  • Create and execute account-specific strategies for all assigned and prospective accounts to build and grow revenue for an assigned book of business
  • Network, prospect, and develop professional relationships with all potential customers and clients
  • Work closely with marketing to drive awareness of Becker which results in a pipeline of opportunities and closed won new B2B business
  • Proactively communicate and report progress and activity to leadership
  • Keep well-informed of competitor activities and share this information with local, regional, and national teams as appropriate

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of the accounting and finance industries preferred but not required
