Summary

Join Scale Army as a Sales & Retention Manager and lead a high-performing team focused on driving revenue, maximizing client value, and achieving hyper-growth. You will oversee Account Managers and Client Success associates, own the strategy to expand revenue across existing accounts, and manage critical client relationships. This role demands impeccable leadership, strategic optimization of sales processes, and data-driven decision-making. You will report directly to leadership, regularly assessing performance against KPI targets and revenue goals. You will also be responsible for hiring and firing, building and shaping your team. This is a fully remote role.

Requirements

  • You’ve delivered results in SaaS, fintech, IT Services, or B2B marketing agencies, scaling client portfolios and driving revenue growth across SMBs
  • Your track record includes highly successful upsells, cross-sells, and renewals that transform businesses
  • You know how to drive ACV and LTV through the roof
  • Your leadership has transformed teams —you’ve led diverse groups of junior to senior professionals, pushed them to excel, and delivered results when the stakes are high
  • Master of B2B sales cycles, client success, and the MOF strategy
  • You’ve mastered how to scale efficiently and you know how to leverage each stage of the funnel for maximum output
  • You’re data-obsessed, with a strong grasp of sales metrics like ACV, LTV, and net retention rates
  • Strong experience with HubSpot or similar tools
  • You make data-driven decisions and understand how to extract actionable insights from metrics
  • Commanding presence: You will not tolerate mediocrity
  • Demand results, and you’ll instill this mindset in your team
  • Proven ability to manage high-performance teams and hold them accountable to the highest standards
  • Exceptional ability to influence at all levels, particularly with C-suite executives, to deliver on high-impact goals

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team focused on driving revenue, maximizing client value, and achieving hyper-growth
  • Own the strategy to expand revenue across existing accounts, maximize ACV, and aggressively pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Lead a team of 10 AMs and CS associates
  • Handle escalations with precision and authority
  • Manage critical, high-value client relationships and resolve issues that others can’t
  • Partner with Recruiting, HR, Operations, and other business units to ensure smooth execution at scale
  • Shape the direction of multiple functions—sales, operations, and client success
  • Drive alignment across teams to ensure laser focus on results
  • Revolutionize the sales process —streamline the MOF cycle, increase deal velocity, and optimize margin at every stage
  • Leverage HubSpot and other tools to analyze and adjust strategies
  • Report directly to leadership, regularly assessing performance against KPI targets and revenue goals
  • Have full responsibility for building and shaping your team
  • Make high-stakes hiring decisions to bring in top-tier talent and firing underperformers who fail to meet the high standards you’ve set
