Summary

Join our team as a Sales Coach and coordinate and manage loan specialists in closing new auto loans and selling ancillary products. Manage a team, maintain production standards, and ensure KPI performance goals are met. Responsibilities include training and motivating the team, monitoring lead flow, reviewing customer service activities, handling escalated calls, conducting audits, creating incentives, and generating reports. You will also make outbound calls and ensure fair handling of customer service issues. Loan specialist subject matter expertise is required. This position offers a competitive salary plus uncapped commission.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the auto finance/lending sales industry
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and all levels of management
  • Basic computation skills
  • Detailed-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Strong reasoning and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Intermediate level with Microsoft Office and Teams, keyboarding/computer skills, heavy computer, and phone usage
  • High level of personal motivation, professionalism, and integrity required
  • Ability to exercise discretion and judgment

Responsibilities

  • Understand and demonstrate the principles of AUTOPAYโ€™s Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Train, support and motivate the team to obtain monthly goals
  • Monitor and assign all-new lead flow. Make sure applicants are contacted, complete the application, and pre-qualify the applicant
  • Review individual daily customer service activities, providing feedback and direction
  • Handle escalated calls and defuse potential complaints
  • Conduct regular side-by-side audits of loan specialists
  • Create incentive and contest ideas that result in performance improvement
  • Responsible for required internal and external client reporting
  • Promote a cooperative and productive work environment
  • Make outbound phone calls on escalated or urgent account needs
  • Expeditious and fair handling of all documented customer service issues needing resolution
  • Responsible for inbound/outbound productivity and call quality
  • Loan Specialist subject matter expertise

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in inside sales preferred
