Summary
Join Twilio as the next Sales Compensation Manager! This role involves acting as a trusted advisor to the Sales Organization, providing insights into performance, managing the Sales Compensation program, and guiding leadership through complex compensation matters. You will develop a deep understanding of sales incentive plans and build strong partnerships with sales leaders. The position requires ensuring accurate employee data and payments, generating dashboards, and providing tailored support to sales teams. Success in this role demands a results-oriented leadership style with a people-focused mindset and strong problem-solving skills. The position is remote with some travel required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Compensation in Software / Technology industry
- 2+ years of Sales Compensation results visualisation (Tableau is a +)
- Process oriented: capable of developing high level analysis of data integrity issues
- Intimate understanding of sales incentive programs
- Excellence in structuring complex problems, developing solutions, and crafting recommendations concisely and effectively
Responsibilities
- Manage the team who is interacting with the Sales Team daily
- Develop relationships with your business partners and be the first point of contact to address Compensation questions and concerns from the Sales Organization
- Possess an intimate understanding of our sales incentive programs, systems, and policies
- Generate Sales Compensation dashboards for internal and external stakeholders to provide visibility
- Articulate complex calculations or concepts into easily digestible explanations, provide incentive statement and reporting enablement, and resolve escalations
- Manage quotas, employee, and hierarchy data from cross-functional teams to ensure precise Xactly set up and accurate compensation payments
- Analyze sales performance results and key compensation metrics by crafting executive presentations for company leadership and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Xactly or other Sales Incentive management programs
- Excellent project and program management skills
- Detail oriented with strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate complex data models
- Ability to influence and build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization
