Requirements
- Have previous experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships with clients across an organizational hierarchy, including executive/C-level
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
- Be proficient in verbal communication and written communication in both English and French languages
- Have exceptional time management skills displaying the ability to manage multiple tasks with strict attention to detail
- Demonstrate resilience, perseverance, and the ability to overcome objections
- Be self-disciplined, organized and ambitious with the ability to consistently hit daily and monthly objectives
Responsibilities
- Be the primary responsibility and contact for membership applications and account setup
- Field incoming emails and phone calls from prospective and existing clients. Includes but not limited to providing cost estimates, and assisting with billing/collection queries, product information and other general questions
- Research prospects and identify stakeholders to generate interest and create rapport
- Effectively communicate the value proposition and ROI of Business Wire products and services
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including sales calls, meetings, opportunities, emails and social outreach in Salesforce/HubSpot CRMs
- Nurture, maintain and cultivate customer relationships and success from existing and newly created transactional/non-contract accounts
- Keep current with PR and Investor relations industry trends
- Contact customers through telephone, email, and social media to convey knowledge and position yourself as a resource and expert within investor relations, financial reporting, public relations, marketing, and corporate communications industries
- Develop thorough knowledge of the industry, our products and services, as well as those of our competitors
- Maximize results by satisfying multiple buyers in an organization and addressing conflicting needs of multiple buyer influencers. Understanding the customerβs business and providing solutions to meet their needs
- Manage expectations and overcome objections in an effective manner
- Assist as needed with Business Wire general office items, company events including media breakfasts, client visits and client lunch & learn meetings
- Work collaboratively in a group setting to achieve shared results
Preferred Qualifications
- Have understanding and ability to communicate at a high level with professionals in investor relations, financial reporting, public relations, marketing, and corporate communications
- Have a BA/BSc degree, or international equivalent
- Have 1 year of sales experience
- Be proficient with Salesforce.com and HubSpot and business applications including Microsoft Office
