Summary
Join Docsumo as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and contribute to revolutionizing document processing. You will qualify inbound leads, understand customer needs, and schedule product demos. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers, collaborating with sales and marketing teams. This role blends relationship building, technical understanding, and strategic thinking, offering comprehensive SaaS sales skill development. The position includes comprehensive training, regular coaching, a clear progression path, exposure to C-suite executives, and opportunities to influence product development. You'll manage your pipeline autonomously, receive mentorship, and enjoy competitive compensation and performance-based commissions.
Requirements
- Must have 2-4 years of industry experience into selling IT/SaaS products and concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication & sensitive of US culture
- Should have prior experience working with "C" & "D" level executives
- Proficiency in using Hubspot and prospecting platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)
- Excited to sell brand-new technology products
Responsibilities
- Qualify and manage inbound leads through detailed discovery and assessment
- Respond promptly to incoming inquiries via email, phone, and live chat
- Work with the marketing team to create and execute sales campaigns
- Prepare and deliver presentations/demos and connect in a professional way to USA tech buyers
- Maintain and update CRM with accurate lead and activity details
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure qualified opportunities are handed off effectively
- Track and report key performance metrics related to inbound lead conversion
- Rolling out weekly newsletters, email and drip campaigns
- Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends
- Get customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products
