Requirements
- You have at least one year of experience in outbound sales development, lead generation, or inside sales
- You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with prospects and customers
- You are adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, working independently or as part of a team
- You have experience working in a fast-paced startup and can adapt to a rapidly expanding and changing environment
- You have familiarity with sales and prospecting tools such as Salesforce.com, Salesloft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- You have experience selling SaaS-based products
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies to generate new business opportunities
- Leverage technology such as Salesloft, Salesforce, and Sales Navigator to automate your sales efforts
- Research and identify key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts in the higher education and nonprofit sectors
- Qualify leads and set up meetings for the sales team
- Conduct outreach through various channels, including email, phone, and social media
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine sales messaging and strategies
- Utilize sales tools and technology to track and report on sales activities and progress
- Continuously improve the sales development process and contribute to the growth of the sales organization
