Summary
Join our team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and play a pivotal role in generating sales pipeline through proactive outbound engagement. You will be responsible for qualifying leads, booking meetings with key stakeholders, and collaborating with marketing and account executives. This role demands a results-oriented approach, leveraging cutting-edge technology and proven sales frameworks. Success in this position requires strong communication, objection-handling skills, and the ability to manage a CRM effectively. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record of booking qualified meetings. This is a full-time, remote position offering a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years + experience in similar role
- A desire to learn how to sell, or the ability to sell, services and/or products to business stakeholders (B2B sales experience)
- Proven ability to book qualified meetings that convert or result in tangible sales
- Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- Strong written, verbal, and objection-handling skills
- Self-starter who thrives in high-accountability, performance-driven environments
Responsibilities
- Source and enrich marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) based on prospect engagement and campaign triggers (e.g., content downloads, LinkedIn interactions, email clicks)
- Follow up on MQLs with timely, multi-channel outreach using Microsoft Dynamics Sales Accelerator, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and KASPR
- Establish meaningful contact by referencing marketing triggers (e.g., “You downloaded X guide” or “engaged with Y campaign”), not just generic outreach
- Book 3 to 5+ high-quality, CHAMP-qualified discovery meetings per week with ICP-aligned stakeholders
- Use the CHAMP framework to qualify all MQLs before handover to AEs —ensuring they're decision-maker level with budget and timeline clarity
- Maintain rigorous hygiene in Dynamics—every lead is tracked, updated, and visible to the wider sales and revenue team
- Work closely with Marketing and AEs to deliver insight loops on what’s converting, where friction is happening, and how to tighten funnel efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in selling to the recruitment, construction, or outsourced services sectors
- Understanding of Umbrella Payroll, PAYE, CIS, and IR35
- Familiarity with UK compliance and the contractor payroll landscape
