Summary

Join Kraken’s rapidly scaling institutional sales team as a Sales Development Representative and contribute to their mission of accelerating global crypto adoption. Support the team in building relationships with leading institutional investors, ranging from crypto-native funds to major players in traditional finance. You will generate and pursue client leads, manage CRM systems, create sales materials, and work closely with clients to understand their needs. This role involves collaborating with the sales team to onboard new clients and help them achieve their goals using Kraken’s products, including spot, futures, custody, staking, and credit. The position offers mentorship from senior salespeople and exposure to the full range of crypto products available to institutional clients. This is a fully remote individual contributor role reporting to a sales manager.

Requirements

  • Outgoing and energetic personality with a collaborative approach to work
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a tech or financial services environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional language skills are a bonus
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Tech savvy, quick to learn new software, tools and skills
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar)

Responsibilities

  • Support the institutional sales efforts alongside a team of highly motivated professionals
  • Generate, filter, and pursue client leads, respond to inbound opportunities, and assist team members in doing the same
  • Update and maintain CRM systems, as well as track inbound and outbound enquiries using CRM. Maintain and assist in use of databases
  • Create and develop sales and marketing materials alongside the marketing team
  • Work closely with high net worth individuals, crypto corporates, hedge funds and other institutions to understand their needs and how Kraken can best serve them
  • Be a Kraken advocate in promoting our full product suite and company’s values to new and existing clients
  • Enhance Kraken’s reputation by taking initiative in owning the client’s request and providing the best in class client experience 7 days a week
  • Partner with Krakenites to help drive product development, prioritization and strategy
