📍Remote - Worldwide

Summary

Join Mursion, an award-winning upskilling platform company, as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and play a pivotal role in driving pipeline growth. As the first point of contact for many future customers, you will qualify opportunities and ensure a smooth handoff to Account Executives. This fully remote role, preferably in the Eastern or Central time zones, requires proactively identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, partnering with Account Executives and Marketing, researching target accounts, assessing sales readiness, tracking activities in HubSpot, measuring work through KPIs, and providing insights to refine sales strategies. You will also stay updated on industry news and trends. Mursion offers a flexible, fully remote work environment and a supportive culture.

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (ideally in B2B SaaS or a fast-paced startup environment)
  • A strong “hunter” mentality. You’re energized by reaching out, starting conversations, and building something from scratch
  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage your own pipeline
  • Mindset to thrive in ambiguity and love the challenge of creating order and foundation where there was none
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems ( we use HubSpot ), sales engagement tools, and prospecting platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you know how to listen, ask the right questions, and tailor your message
  • Metrics-oriented mindset: you set goals, track your progress, and take pride in hitting (and exceeding) your numbers
  • Passion for learning and professional development—you’re curious, coachable, and growth-driven
  • Business acumen and SaaS knowledge to engage at the executive level of large enterprise accounts
  • Highly motivated with appetite for experimentation (i.e. leveraging AI, testing new tactics to break through)

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, engage, and qualify new sales opportunities through a combination of inbound lead follow-up, outbound outreach, and targeted prospecting strategies
  • Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing to build and execute campaigns that drive awareness and pipeline
  • Research target accounts and key stakeholders to craft personalized, relevant outreach
  • Quickly assess fit and pain points to determine sales readiness and route qualified leads
  • Consistently track activities and update our CRM ( HubSpot ) to ensure visibility and accurate reporting
  • Measure your work through clear KPIs: activity volume, conversion rates, and opportunity creation
  • Own the frontlines of our growth engine, not just by building pipeline, but by feeding insights back into product, messaging, and market positioning. You’ll be a critical partner in refining how we sell
  • Stay updated with industry news, competitor products, and emerging trends to enhance outreach strategies

Benefits

  • Work in a culture that values autonomy, experimentation, and pace. We move fast, learn fast, and celebrate initiative
  • Collaborate with a thoughtful, creative, and dedicated team that values impact and innovation
  • Access opportunities for career advancement as part of a fast-growing company
  • Enjoy a flexible, fully remote work environment with a supportive culture
  • Full medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • A 401k program
  • Paid holidays
  • Flexible PTO
