Summary
Join Solution Tree as a remote Sales Development Representative (Professional Learning Advisor) and contribute to transforming education worldwide! Based in WA, OR, AZ, NM, CO, UT, WY, ID, MT, ND, or SD, you will execute inbound and outbound sales campaigns, qualify leads, and build relationships with potential customers. Success is measured by the number of qualified leads generated and converted into revenue. You will collaborate with the sales and marketing teams, leverage multiple communication channels, and manage a high volume of lead research and outreach. This entry-level to associate-level position requires 1-2 years of sales experience (preferably in B2B or education sales) and strong communication and organizational skills. Requirements
- Have minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B or education sales
- Leverage modern sales technologies to research and engage with prospects through targeted campaigns
- Possess strong written communication, phone, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Have ability to ask questions, gather information, and formulate an action plan to connect customer needs to solutions
- Have ability to multi-task, prioritize, take initiative, and manage time effectively
- Possess strong research skills to leverage data to inform campaign targeting strategies
- Maintain a prospective sales pipeline and target lists in Salesforce.com
- Be motivated and results-driven
- Demonstrate strong ownership, a bias for action, and willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Be technologically proficient with Salesforce.com, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Zoom
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with sales and marketing to analyze the territory and develop campaigns to target prospect and growth accounts to improve revenue penetration
- Execute campaigns and engage with customers leveraging multiple channels (phone, email) to qualify leads at the initial stages of the pipeline for the sales team of Directors of Educational Partnerships (DEPs)
- Be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and assigning leads to DEPs daily
- Help drive sales by identifying potential customers and qualifying their interest and viability while starting the relationship with Solution Tree
- Schedule meetings for sales to continue to develop the opportunities
- Successfully manage a high volume of lead research, prospecting, outreach, and qualification motions
- Support the DEP in outreach objectives to drive attendance to events and to further the Solution Tree brand in key markets
- Develop thorough understanding of Solution Tree products and services
- Effectively convey the value proposition of Solution Tree in a concise manner to generate customer interest
- Conduct research on organizations and contacts to help drive new leads and sales opportunities
- Manage a lead prospecting pipeline and maintain accurate information about prospects and their organizations
- Demonstrate a willingness to make outbound cold calls and send follow-ups
- Share information timely with internal partners
