Requirements

  • Excels at verbal communication—From chatting up potential clients to communicating with colleagues in a remote work environment, being able to speak well is a must for any Trialfacts position, especially this one
  • Is highly coachable—You’ll be expected to rapidly reach an in-depth understanding of our sales process. You’ll need to be adept at taking feedback and instantly implementing it
  • Loves learning—We're a team that’s driven by learning and improving. We’re looking for someone who wants to learn and develop their skills, grow as a person and constantly improve the service that we provide
  • Loves problem-solving—You’ll need to be able to talk with potential clients in order to examine their existing processes, and recognise and suggest potential improvements and insights. For existing clients, this will often include analyzing data in spreadsheets and our internal systems
  • Has a strong work-ethic—You won’t have to do your own lead generation, CRM updating, email follow-up or other sales admin, but you will be expected to instead spend the majority of your workday speaking with potential clients and upselling existing clients. We’re a small and nimble but hard-working team
  • Is flexible—In an entrepreneurial business we sometimes have to wear different hats. We're looking for someone that takes ownership and wants to help grow our company. If you’re the kind of person who would rather sit back and say 'that’s not my responsibility' then we ask that you please don’t apply
  • Is results-driven—You will be coached and guided, but ultimately you will be responsible for meeting your KPIs
  • Is looking for a full-time position—We’re experiencing growth and we need someone who can fully commit to Trialfacts and get up to speed quickly. We’re not looking for someone who has their own part-time business or freelancing career on the side

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new clients and secure new studies through outbound activities
  • Conduct outbound activities, including cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn engagement, to identify and generate new sales opportunities
  • Research and identify potential clients who align with our ideal customer profile
  • Initiate contact with prospects to introduce our services, qualify leads, and schedule meetings with Account Managers
  • Track and manage the lead pipeline in our CRM system, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up
  • Ensure smooth transition of qualified leads to Account Managers, providing all relevant information and support
  • Work with the Sales Director to refine and enhance lead generation and conversion strategies
  • Maintain detailed records of lead generation activities and provide regular updates and performance reports to the Sales Director
