Summary
Join Truffle Security Co. as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and be the first point of contact for inbound leads. You will qualify leads, identify customer needs, and schedule meetings for Account Executives. This role is crucial for building a strong sales pipeline and providing excellent customer experiences. The position requires 1+ years of sales development experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce. Requirements
- 1+ years of professional experience, preferably within in a sales development role (SaaS or tech sales a plus)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with prospects and convey the value of our solutions
- Self-motivated and extremely ambitious, with a drive to achieve sales targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce and sales engagement tools such as Outreach, Salesforce, Hubspot
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound leads quickly via email, phone, and LinkedIn
- Qualify inbound prospects using frameworks like BANT or MEDDPICC-lite
- Set meetings and hand off qualified opportunities to AEs
- Research accounts and personalize outreach based on role, industry, and behavior
- Maintain detailed activity and notes in Salesforce
- Collaborate with Marketing to give feedback on lead quality and conversion trends
- Participate in ongoing sales and product training to sharpen skills
- Consistently meet or exceed daily activity and monthly meeting goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous SDR or BDR experience (inbound or outbound)
- Knowledge of open source software and/or software development
- Interest in cybersecurity, cloud, or infrastructure software
- Previous experience in a fast-growing, fast-paced startup environment
