Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sales or business development role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting relationships
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage Small to Medium Businesses (SMBs) to sign up for an Instacart Business account
  • Use cold calls and emails to identify new opportunities, drive value, and establish meaningful connections with SMBs
  • Strong problem-solving, solution mapping and negotiation skills
  • Time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a strong go to market strategy
  • Work independently while collaborating with the team to achieve individual and team objectives
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • A strong desire to learn and grow in the sales field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage SMBs and convey Instacart Business’ value proposition
  • Partner with leadership to update sales collateral, case studies, and custom ‘stories’ to translate benefits of Instacart’s platform to prospects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems like Salesforce and adept at conducting data analysis for pipeline building and segmentation
  • Startup Experience: Background in fast-paced, early staged, innovation-driven company settings where agile and responsive strategies are a norm.Track recording of excelling cross functionally and in a high growth climate
