Summary
Join Sumo Logic as an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) supporting the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) sales team. This role is ideal for sales-oriented individuals. As an SDR, you will be crucial to the sales process and ANZ team success by identifying, nurturing, and creating new sales opportunities. You will research and prospect new customers, book meetings through various outreach methods, engage with prospects, deliver targeted marketing content, and utilize a modern tech stack. Collaboration with Account Executives to develop and execute territory plans is also key. The role requires experience as an SDR, preferably in SaaS sales.
Requirements
2+ years of experience as an SDR, preferably in a SaaS sales environment or similar sales roles (Sales, BDR, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and prospect new customers
- Book outbound meetings through cold calls, emails, social outreach, and networking
- Engage with prospects, including C-suite and directors, to drive interest
- Deliver targeted marketing content to prospects
- Utilize a modern tech stack, including 6Sense, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Lusha, Outreach, etc
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop and execute a joint territory "plan-of-attack," identifying and targeting prospects with the right messaging at the right time

- Proven track record in outbound lead generation and consistently over-achieving quotas
- Strong hunter mentality: self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-organized with strong follow-through and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and be coached
- Genuine passion for technology and sales
- Bachelorβs degree is a plus
