Summary

Requirements

  • Japanese Language – Native, English Language ability also preferred
  • Required minimum 2-3 years of retail management experience (ie. vendor manager or ads operator for Amazon / Rakuten) OR 2-3 years in National/Key Account Management
  • 3+ years of B2B and/or SAAS sales experience
  • Experience closing deals with VP Level Executives at Large Enterprises & Agency Holding Companies
  • Demonstrated success carrying quota of +1M and closing six and seven figure deals
  • Experience with sales CRM and prospecting tools such as Salesforce, Outreach.io or like programs
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
  • Experience with eCommerce/retail media
  • Deep expertise with digital media and the eRetail Landscape
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships and close new business with both brand and agency enterprise and midsize accounts
  • Drive new opportunities within Japan and employ a proven sales process that demonstrates business value, promotes our products, and drives up-sell and cross-sell revenue
  • Generate new and close existing pipeline that leads to closed revenue that achieves/exceeds individual quota
  • Create demand by uncovering local business problems, matching them to our platform solution, and educating potential clients on both
  • Proven ability to sell based on business outcomes, value, and return on investment as opposed to feature-based selling
  • Own the client relationship throughout the sales process and onboarding ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Work with our customer success team to provide local support in expanding existing client business and relationships
  • Be able to successfully connect with, prepare, present, and sell to various levels within an enterprise organization
  • Prepare and deliver personalized product demonstrations and presentations based on prospect/client KPIs and business goals
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and product updates
