Summary

Join M-Files as a Sales Engineer and leverage your technical expertise to drive successful pre-sales engagements. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, etc.)
  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in a pre-sales environment, supporting sales cycles
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messages for non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales representatives to provide technical expertise during the sales process
  • Assist in qualifying opportunities and managing proof-of-concept (POC) processes
  • Script, configure and deliver value-driven product demos to prospects
  • Understand the product thoroughly and explain its value, benefits, features and technical details to potential clients
  • Address technical objections or questions raised by prospects
  • Assist developers with initial integrations and third-party solutions
  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and tailoring technical solutions
  • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, product, and support) to ensure customer success
  • Collaborate with sales teams to chase leads, convert customers, and upsell to existing clients
  • Provide technical thought leadership to maximize business value for customers
