Summary
Join Envato as an Office Maintenance and/or Clean-Up Crew member, contributing to a productive and aesthetically pleasing work environment. You will perform routine building maintenance tasks, ensuring all equipment and facilities function correctly. Responsibilities include handling repairs, maintaining HVAC systems, and managing waste disposal. As a Clean-Up crew member, you will maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the office, including restrooms and common areas. The role requires a high school education or equivalent, 5-10 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in various maintenance and cleaning tasks. Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- 5-10 years of working experience in facilities maintenance or/and clean-up
- Intermediate understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Demonstrate knowledge of maintenance tools and materials - use
- Demonstrate knowledge of construction project development: cost, time, planning
- Translate electrical diagrams, autocad plans - how it works and what the signs mean
- Ability to safely operate standard cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, mops, and basic floor cleaning machines (training provided)
- Basic understanding of different cleaning agents and their appropriate uses
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask
- Some physical demands may be needed to successfully perform the essential tasks of the job: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit. Frequently must squat, stoop, or kneel, reach above the head and reach forward. Daily uses hand strength to grasp tools, supplies and equipment. Occasionally climbs ladders. Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 kg maximum
Responsibilities
- Report needs upon painting, remodeling, and refurbishing areas
- Inspect and maintain Office equipment and facilities
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks as soon as possible
- Change or clean of all filters for HVAC as required
- Remove and properly dispose of all recyclable materials
- Report when light bulbs need a change, interior, and exterior, as needed
- Make ready all workstations as needed
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Work inventories of tools and materials
- Follow up on water and electricity consumption issues - saving issues (look for solutions to save as much as possible)
- Clean windows and glass doors
- Dusting all surfaces, including desks, tables, shelves, and equipment
- Vacuuming or mopping floors in offices, hallways, meeting rooms, and common areas
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and countertops
- Oversee daily trash removal, restocking/cleaning restrooms, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming, cleaning/disinfecting tables and furniture, cleaning exterior entryway/cigarette receptacles, graffiti removal, cleaning/polishing/floor maintenance for elevators, cleaning/disinfecting community surfaces (handrails, water fountains, kitchen areas, etc.)
- Oversee service that provides trash removal and cleaning in the office at the end of an event
- Maintain exterior property, including trash removal
- Assist with all events installs/removals
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines diligently
- Collecting and disposing of trash and recyclable materials according to established procedures
