Join BambooHR as a Sales Leader to guide and elevate the net-new sales team serving the SMB market. This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of a high-impact sales organization, driving revenue, developing talent, and inspiring performance. You will lead a high-performing team of Acquisition Account Executives in the EMEA territory, consistently exceeding monthly revenue targets. Responsibilities include coaching team members, establishing sales standards, building sales playbooks, fostering a positive team culture, and partnering with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate possesses extensive sales management and SaaS experience, a deep understanding of the SMB market, and strong communication and analytical skills.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing sales teams
- 5+ years of experience as a quota-carrying SaaS Account Executive
- Deep understanding of the SMB and Mid-Market space (25 - 1,000 employees), ideally with experience in HR Tech & international selling (EMEA)
- A point of view on what it takes to run a high performing sales team - with examples and existing frameworks/playbooks
- Clear communicator, with the ability to deliver both constructive and positive feedback
- Experience in carrying a prospecting expectation and deploying creative methods to generate pipeline
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to a common objective
- Analytical by nature and able to leverage data/insights to spot trends which lead to corrective action
- Leaning into AI and incorporating thoughtful ways of incorporating into your day to day
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team of Acquisition Account Executives in our EMEA territory
- Deliver results that consistently beat monthly revenue targets
- Coach for performance through a blend of live and recorded customer calls, plus a core focus on role play practice with your AEβs
- Establish and lead to a set of standards for key activities such as forecasting, pipeline management and prospecting
- Build the playbooks that define our approach to key sales activities such as discovery, demos and negotiation
- Foster a culture of positivity and fun, while holding true to a high bar for results
- Partner with key cross-functional teams to drive success within your team. This includes Sales Development, Sales Operations, Enablement, Implementation Services, Billing and Executive Leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Salesforce is ideal
- Action oriented and natural problem solver
- Strength in prioritization and focusing your team on the tasks that matter
- Understanding of how selling in an international market is unique to selling in the United States
- Competitive but with a high degree of integrity and a compass for doing the right thing
- Natural coach and someone who can develop talent
