Summary

Join Kraken Digital Asset Exchange's Institutional Sales team as a fully remote Institutional Sales Manager in the US! This role focuses on growing Kraken's client base and generating revenue by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the institutional market. You will build relationships with clients, understand their needs, and demonstrate how Kraken's suite of products (spot, futures, custody, staking, and credit) can add value. Collaborate with internal teams to leverage market intelligence and develop new product features. The ideal candidate possesses over 5 years of experience in trading environments or traditional finance sales, a strong understanding of cryptocurrency regulations, and a robust network within the financial services sector. Passion for cryptocurrency and a belief in Kraken's values are essential. This is an ongoing application process with no deadline.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of expertise in trading environments and/or traditional finance sales, demonstrating a proven track record of driving sales and expanding business within the institutional sales segment
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems, conduct analysis and identify innovative solutions
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of cryptocurrency regulations with a proven ability to navigate and ensure adherence to evolving regulatory frameworks
  • A robust personal network within the financial services sector, particularly with a focus on institutional and corporate clients
  • Fearlessness to innovate boldly, move swiftly, and take calculated risks
  • Passionate about the cryptocurrency world and most importantly a learning attitude about new crypto-industry trends
  • Believe wholeheartedly in the crypto, cypherpunk, libertarian values of Kraken described in our Tentaclements document
  • Located in the US with fluency in English, additional language fluency a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the institutional sales effort across the US, drive client and volume growth for the institutional Kraken product suite
  • Generate, filter, and pursue client leads, including responding to inbound opportunities and assisting team members in doing the same
  • Build trustworthy relationships with our institutional clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Kraken can generate value for them
  • Partner up with Marketing, Product, Strategy, and Business Development teams to provide market intelligence, develop new product features and leverage competitive advantages
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to generate leads and enhance Krakenโ€™s institutional brand presence
  • Be a Kraken advocate in promoting our full product suite of products, services and companyโ€™s value to new and existing clients

Preferred Qualifications

Preferably, you have experience at a crypto company specializing in financial products for institutional clients
