Summary

Verona Pharma is recruiting a Sales Operations Analyst to join their team, reporting to the Director, Sales Operations. The Sales Operations Analyst will support the field sales organization by providing data insights, analytical guidance, and strategic operational support. They will optimize tools for efficient use, deliver regular reports, serve as lead facilitator for incentive compensation administration, and assist with HCP segmentation, territory sizing & mapping, among other responsibilities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • 2-3 years sales operations experience or at least one year of pharma experience
  • Broad range of sales operations and/or analytics experience supporting multi-layer salesforce & market access teams
  • Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  • Strong business intelligence platform experience (Power BI preferred)
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to serve as strategic partner to the commercial leadership team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • MS Office proficiency, with advanced Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of key pharmaceutical industry data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony)
  • Business travel, minimum 25%, by plane or car is required for primary research purposes

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the field-facing tools and reporting are optimized for efficient use
  • Deliver regular actionable reports to sales leadership
  • Serve as lead facilitator for salesforce quota & sales compensation administration
  • Assist with the development of HCP segmentation, territory sizing & mapping
  • Partner with field stakeholders to understand critical business needs
  • Champion the use of advanced analytics in evidence-based decision making
  • Work together with sales training to establish robust education of reporting platforms
  • Collaborate closely with the commercial leadership team
