Summary
Join Hexagon US Federal as a Sales Support Engineer and support key US Government customers and internal research. You will be responsible for new product integration, testing, and customer application support, including troubleshooting communication ports, receiver setup, software debugging, and assisting customers with technical questions. The ideal candidate has experience leading integration activities, managing relationships, and working with US Government contracts. A BS in Engineering and five or more years of electronics integration experience are required. Requirements
- BS in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Aerospace)
- Five or more years of electronics (preferably RF) integration experience
- Hands-on technical experience with GPS/GNSS receivers and antennas
- Experience in developing and managing an integration/test plan
- Familiar with common test equipment (DVMβs, High BW Storage Scope, RF or Vector Network Analyzer, Logic Analyzer)
- Familiar with C/C++
- Problem solving, risk management, time management and leadership skills
- Attention to deadlines and budgetary objectives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with US Government contracts
Responsibilities
- Support key US Government customers and internal research activities
- Be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities including new product integration, test, and customer application support
- Set-up and troubleshoot of communication ports
- Receiver set-up and installation
- Software de-bug
- Cable and interface circuit troubleshoot
- Key loading for MGUE receivers and lab set-up/development
- Assist customers with technical questions and application specific engineering
- Assist customers with a wide range of applications (may require travel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading integration activities from test planning through design and procurement of special and/or off-the shelf test equipment, and test execution
- Experience establishing and maintaining positive relationships internally and with the customer
