Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation
  • Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States
  • Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Salesforce admin and advanced admin certifications
  • Minimum of 5 experience as a salesforce admin, with a strong focus on DevOps
  • Proven expertise in using Copado or a similar tool for Salesforce CI/CD pipeline setup and management. Copado Fundamentals certifications highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, environment management, and deployment methodologies
  • Proficient in tools related to Salesforce DevOps, including version control, data migration, and metadata management
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Salesforce environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user accessibility
  • Extensively work with Copado to set up, configure, and manage deployment pipelines for Salesforce
  • Collaborate with the development team daily to ensure smooth deployments and releases
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, merge conflicts, and environment synchronization
  • Lead and guide best practices around Salesforce DevOps, ensuring adherence to industry standards
  • Leverage Copado to automate repetitive tasks, streamlining processes and reducing manual effort (e.g., Copado Data Deploy, Copado Robotic Testing)
  • Regularly review and clean metadata in Salesforce environments
  • Keep track of the latest Salesforce updates and features, ensuring our environment leverages the best and latest functionalities
  • Assist in training and guiding other team members on best practices related to Salesforce deployments
