Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, or similar roles
  • Familiarity with security tools like SIEM, CSPM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for investigating incidents
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of cloud security practices, particularly AWS
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other tools to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents
  • Help with vulnerability assessments and track security misconfigurations, ensuring there are plans to remediate risks in both internal and product infrastructure
  • Work with cross-functional teams to apply security best practices and address vulnerabilities
  • Support SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other compliance initiatives by preparing for audits, responding to security questionnaires, and maintaining documentation
  • Assist in configuring and maintaining threat detection and prevention settings in SIEM and other security tools
  • Help monitor threat intelligence feeds and assist in adjusting configurations to respond to emerging risks
