Summary

Join 5X as a Senior Account Executive and play a critical role in helping CTOs, Head of Data, and Product leaders modernize their data infrastructure. This full-time, 100% net new logo acquisition role focuses on mid-market and enterprise accounts across North America. You will own and execute the full sales cycle, develop and maintain a qualified outbound pipeline, strategically sell to senior stakeholders, and position 5X as a high-impact, time-to-value alternative to traditional DIY data stacks. Collaborate with Product, SDR, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to close complex deals, maintain a rigorous outreach cadence, and consistently exceed revenue targets. Become a trusted advisor and help shape the sales playbook while mentoring junior representatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Account Executive experience, ideally with exposure to the data ecosystem (modern data stack, Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, etc.)
  • Track record of closing complex, consultative deals in North America
  • Ability to identify critical use cases and business pains, and translate them into compelling narratives
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving fast in a high-trust environment
  • High EQ and strong executive presence—able to lead multi-threaded sales cycles

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution mapping, negotiation, and close
  • Develop and maintain a 3–5X qualified outbound pipeline at all times
  • Strategically sell to senior stakeholders including CTOs, Head of Data, Product, and Analytics
  • Position 5X as a high-impact, time-to-value alternative to traditional DIY data stacks
  • Collaborate closely with Product, SDR, Marketing, and Partnerships to close complex multi-stakeholder deals
  • Maintain a rigorous cadence of outreach and follow-ups with personalized, insight-led messaging
  • Consistently exceed quarterly and annual new business revenue targets
  • Become a trusted advisor on modern data infrastructure and AI-readiness
  • Evangelize 5X’s differentiated positioning in the fragmented data tooling landscape
  • Help shape the sales playbook, influence GTM strategy, and mentor junior reps as we scale
