Summary

The role requires strong communication, consultative selling skills, and a proven track record of success in exceeding quotas. You will report to the VP of Sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years software sales experience
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
  • Able to manage a top-tier named account list of Fortune 1000 companies
  • Ability to work from home
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals, and achieving results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including cold calls, proposal preparation, and presentation skills
  • Must have energy, drive, commitment, and passion
  • 5+ years of applicable experience (Enterprise sales, Fortune 1000, 3 to 9 month sales cycles)
  • Finance background (ie: ability to sell financial software to the office of the CFO)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue quotas
  • Use a consultative approach to diagnose our customer's needs
  • Remain highly knowledgeable of company products and target industries to facilitate sales efforts
  • Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers, and support staff
  • WIN – close deals and acquire new customers
  • Own your accounts, and own your account and contact development, pipeline generation and forecast

Preferred Qualifications

  • Equipment leasing experience (financing, administration, compliance)
  • Corporate Real Estate experience
  • Accounting experience
  • Familiar with salesforce, salesloft, highspot, and other key sales tools
  • Experience with Meddic/Meddpicc
  • Experience selling SaaS applications
  • Excellent communication, client and time management, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with c-suite executives
  • Ability to evaluate sound business opportunities, resolve conflicts, close deals and meet/exceed revenue goals
  • Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level business within a named account list of new and existing customers
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade others
  • Ability to manage a large number of prospect situations simultaneously while positioning solutions against direct and indirect competitors
  • Experience in lease (financing, administration, accounting) for equipment and real estate
  • Comfortable interacting with C-suite, in particular the Office of the CFO
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
