As a Sales Executive, you will proactively source and develop enterprise accounts in the UK market, execute strategic outreach campaigns, cultivate strong relationships with C-level stakeholders, and negotiate complex deals. You will effectively manage your pipeline, educate the market on the benefits of independent consultants, and collaborate with internal teams. This role requires 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a focus on large enterprise accounts, proven success in selling to relevant sectors, and experience managing complex sales cycles. Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful experience in target-driven B2B sales, with a focus on hunting and winning large enterprise accounts (ideally mid-market/ Tier 2)
  • Proven track record selling into Consulting, SaaS, Staffing or Technology sectors
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles (12–18 months) with multiple stakeholders and 7-figure deal values
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to influence and persuade C-level executives
  • Highly autonomous, entrepreneurial self-starter comfortable thriving and building structure in a fast-paced scale up environment

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source, qualify, and develop a robust portfolio of Tier 2 enterprise accounts in the UK market (1,000–5,000 FTEs), aligned with Malt’s growth strategy
  • Execute strategic outreach campaigns and sales activities that generate qualified meetings and unlock new revenue opportunities
  • Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders (e.g., CHRO, CFO, COO, Procurement), positioning Malt as a long-term, strategic partner
  • Negotiate and successfully close complex, multi-stakeholder deals using the MEDDIC methodology, ensuring customer satisfaction and recurring revenue
  • Effectively manage your pipeline through CRM best practices and accurate forecasting, providing a clear view of revenue potential and deal progression
  • Educate the market on the benefits of engaging independent consultants and help clients scale their freelance strategy
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Customer Success, Marketing, Product) to ensure long-term client success and share local market insights that enhance our value proposition

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with MEDDIC qualification and the ability to build strong internal champions and drive urgency is a plus
  • Master’s Degree is a plus
