Senior Accountant

Summary

Requirements

• Completed business administration degree or comparable commercial training, ideally with a focus on accounting, and at least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in one of the major auditing firms or a manufacturing company environment
• Relevant further education (e.g., certified accountant)
• Experience in participating in the implementation of new accounting processes in a fast-growing company
• Very good knowledge of HGB and initial IFRS experience
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and/or Google Suite
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (preferably Microsoft Business Central)
• Very good German and English skills

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire accounting for 3 companies, focusing on the general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and year-end financial statements according to HGB
• Support the optimization of various accounting processes and proactively contribute your own ideas, such as implementing the cost of goods sold procedure in ongoing accounting
• Manage the Order to Cash process and possess expertise in bank accounting
• Support other areas such as inventory and fixed assets
