Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of accounting experience and/or 1+ year of auditing experience
  • Be willing to work the night shift
  • Have good knowledge of Google Productivity Applications or MS Office
  • Have QBO and Xero knowledge/experience
  • Possess strong team player skills with close attention to detail
  • Possess good analytical, numerical, and presentational skills
  • Have a BS in Accountancy

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Be available for client calls
  • Process bank & credit card transactions
  • Manually upload data to QBO/Xero
  • Attach documents
  • Perform bank, credit, and loan reconciliations
  • Process payroll entries
  • Draft management reports
  • Reconcile AR & AP aging
  • File 1099 forms (based on assessment)
  • Perform initial review of client books
  • Request W9 forms
  • Process AP
  • Manage due to/from accounts
  • Manage inventory
  • Create custom reports
  • Compute sales tax
  • Process accrual basis sales
  • Process complex payroll journal entries
  • Perform 1099 assessments
  • Perform final review of client's books
  • Create, update, and review AR accruals & revenue recognition schedules
  • Develop best practices
  • Create and review balance sheet schedules
  • Review transaction lists
  • Communicate via email and video conferencing
  • Process complex journal entries
  • Create fixed asset & amortization schedules
  • Document processes for complex procedures
  • Work within US-based time zone with live communication
