Senior Accountant

Summary

Join GroundTruth as a Senior Accountant and contribute to the company's innovative technology by performing various accounting tasks, managing cash and fixed assets, and assisting in financial reporting. The role is remote-based in India with a night shift schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• 4-6 years of experience in accounting for a US company
• Proficient in with Microsoft Excel
• Relevant experience working with large data sets
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in pressure situations
• Prior experience with Oracle Fusion preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify and research accounting issues in compliance with US GAAP
• Responsible for US entity Cash Management module in ERP system and perform reconciliation between bank statement and book
• Responsible for fixed assets module in ERP
• Perform period end close procedures including, but not limited to, accrued expenses, prepaids, leases, fixed assets, allocations, capitalizations, accounts receivables, and GL accounts analysis
• Responsible for operating expense analysis and reporting
• Assist maintaining state registration renewals, sales/use taxes, and various tax filings
• Assist managing international subsidiary’s management account booking in ERP and local filings
• Assist in monthly financial reporting, annual financial audit, related financial analysis, and
• Support the controller on ad hoc projects
