Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Accounting or Business related major preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounting position
  • Ability to professionally interact with Team Members at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to identify and work towards resolving accounting issues
  • Ability to independently interact with clients on a professional level
  • Ability to manage all responsibilities in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Must be a self-starter, results-oriented individual with excellent attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile intercompany activity across offices on a monthly basis to ensure unbilled receivables and COGS balances align with the offsetting offices records
  • Employee expense processing for semi-monthly payroll including review of support, creating journal entry and communication to Payroll manager for reimbursement
  • Update assigned account reconciliations for all entities on a monthly and or quarterly basis Ensure all monthly and quarterly journal entries are posted and updated within account recs, follow up on variances/unknown activities
  • Review Intercompany costs to ensure approved Interco rates are being used
  • Prepare invoicing of monthly chargebacks for related entities
  • Ensure invoicing ties to postings to intercompany account and reconcile any variances
  • Help with timely resolution of queries and escalations from the team, Corporate Controller, CFO, and internal and external clients
  • Process monthly billings for all fixed price and managed services contracts. Ensure accuracy fixed price contracts monthly revenue recognition
  • Ensure contracts that extend over future service period are booked to deferred revenue accounts and work with financial accountant to ensure terms are communicated for proper revenue recognition

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred
  • Experience with conversions to new accounting systems a plus
  • Experience working with companies with complex entity structures
