Requirements

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting, or a Bachelorโ€™s degree in business with emphasis in accounting, is required
  • 3+ years of general accounting experience
  • Intacct Accounting system experience or similar ERP
  • ADP Workforce Now experience or similar payroll system
  • Strong computer skills are required, and you must be comfortable in a remote, paperless, cloud-based software environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Must be a self-starter and team player who is excited to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability in time management with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Compile cost of revenue and operational metrics to facilitate gross margin and profitability analysis
  • Prepare payroll, cost, and other journal entries
  • Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement analysis
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts
  • Review current accounting procedures and make recommendations for new transactions and standards
  • Contribute to accounting, internal controls, process, and systems-related projects
  • Assist with year-end financial reporting, footnote preparation, and the related audit
  • Semi-monthly payroll processing and coordination with HR on personnel changes
  • Review vendor contracts and ensure appropriate accounting treatment
  • Ensure compliance with state payroll taxes
  • Ensure compliance with state sales taxes and other statutory filings
  • Prepare support and coordinate completion of state income taxes
  • Coordinate with Billing and Clinical Operations on timesheet issues
  • Take on ad-hoc requests

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and cost accounting
  • Public accounting experience
