Senior Accountant

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will play a vital role in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process. Key responsibilities include managing Ramp Bill Pay, preparing financial reports, supporting audits, and analyzing processes for improvement. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, two years of experience, and strong Excel skills. A CPA license or progress towards one is preferred. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Two + years of experience in accounting
• Proven knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formatting

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage Ramp Bill Pay to ensure invoices are processed accurately, and vendors are paid timely
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end for various accounts, including cash, prepaid, fixed assets, accruals, etc
• Assist with the preparation of financial reporting deliverables
• Provide support for annual external audits
• Prepare ad-hoc reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Analyze and review current processes to help identify areas that could be automated and improved
• Assist the Strategic Finance team with the annual budgeting process

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s of Accountancy
• Active CPA license or working toward a CPA license
• Experience with accounting software (Sage Intacct)
• Experience with Ramp
• Strong understanding of healthcare accounting
