Senior Accountant

You will play a key role in the smooth operation of the accounting team, working closely with the Accounting Manager on month- and year-end closing, process improvements, and audits. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a major in accounting
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Daily management of the Accounts Payable cycle
• Daily management of banking activities
• Execute accurate and timely reporting during the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, audit-ready documentation, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Assist with process improvements and automation efforts to streamline accounting operations and improve the quality of monthly close and internal control environment
• Assist with annual financial audits
• Participate in monthly financial analysis, reporting, and other ad-hoc projects
